This Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected when you use the Actium: Book to Action iOS application (“App”) and the website located at actium.app (“Website”), how such data will be used, and how you can control it. By using Actium, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use and delete your account.
Actium does not collect location data, health records, financial information, contacts, browsing history, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is described above.
Your email and name are used to create and manage your account. Your onboarding answers and book selections are sent to the Anthropic Claude API to generate a personalized lesson curriculum with daily real-world tasks. This is the core function of the App.
All account data, generated curricula, stat progress (Body / Mind / Soul / Spirit), and task history are stored in Supabase, a cloud database service, on servers located in the EU and/or US.
Anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are valuable and improve the quality of AI-generated content.
We may use your email to send transactional messages (account confirmations, password resets, subscription receipts) and, with your consent, product updates. You may opt out of non-transactional emails at any time.
We share data only as necessary with the following service providers:

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertising networks or use it for targeted advertising.
Actium uses Anthropic’s Claude API to generate personalized curricula. When you add a book and complete onboarding questions, your answers (without your email or name) are transmitted to Anthropic’s API to produce your lesson plan. Anthropic’s use of this data is governed by their Privacy Policy. We do not use AI-generated outputs to train any model.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, name, onboarding answers, task history) is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

Actium is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us at bozhovskiy18@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your data may be processed on servers in the United States and/or the European Union (Supabase, Anthropic). Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we apply appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection law, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a data breach we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Actium after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
